Princess Kate’s ‘ruthless discipline’ detailed in her gruelling morning routine
The Princess of Wales is a "gym bunny", working out each morning, demonstrating her "ruthless discipline".
The Princess of Wales’s “ruthless discipline” is evident in her rigorous workout regimen, a royal expert has said.
Royal author and historian Dr Tessa Dunlop has told how the 41-year-old mother of three’s determination is one of her positive attributes is even evident in her exercise routine.
Although the author of the 2022 book Elizabeth & Philip said Kate is “more than a nice pair of shoes and a good waistline”, she is often asked about the former Duchess of Cambridge’s workout routine.
It seems many are interested in how Kate has her slender figure. Research conducted by exercise and nutrition experts Barbend analysed monthly Google searches for the diets belonging to key members of the Royal Family and found that the Princess of Wales generated the most searches.
Dr Dunlop revealed that she was told Kate was a “gym bunny” in the mornings which she said was another example of the Princess’s “ruthless discipline”.

How does the Royal Family recieve its funding?
The Royal Family received £86.3million for the 2021-2022 period. So where does royal funding come from?
Speaking on the To Di For Daily podcast, she said: “I heard from my agent, one of the slightly more impressive high-earning clients of my agent, who knew that Kate is like a ruthless gym bunny in the mornings.
“I’m like yeah that’s more of her ruthless discipline, up early, she’s got the most watched waistline in the world. Wouldn’t you invest a couple of extra hours in it?”
A palace insider has previously revealed that Kate is a big fan of Crossfit, which combines cardio, strength training and gymnastics in one high-intensity session.
But she also likes yoga while also taking the time to go for a run. It is thought she does her workouts, which are thought to include weight training, with a personal trainer.

In an interview with OK! Magazine, Dr Dunlop described Kate as a “workout junkie” as she is in the gym or exercising every morning.
She added: “You can tell from her arms she does weight training, you don’t get arms like that lifting up the laundry. You don’t have a waistline like that after three children without a bit of work.”
Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Clubs, Kate is a big fan of tennis, attending Wimbledon three times this year.
She also has had a game against world-renowned Roger Federer and she and Prince William spent tens of thousands doing up their tennis court at their home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall.
