Prince Harry revealed in his and Meghan Markle’s controversial Netflix docuseries that his family expressed some doubt in his relationship with Meghan Markle.

Speaking in their highly-controversial Netflix series, Prince Harry revealed that there was doubt in the air early on in his romance with Meghan Markle.

Prince Harry revealed in his and Meghan Markle’s controversial Netflix docuseries that his family expressed some doubt in his relationship with Meghan Markle.
Meghan and Harry reminisced back to her first-ever meeting with the Royal Family, with Harry stating that they appeared “incredibly impressed” with his choice of new girlfriend.
Harry stated that the family were probably impressed that a “ginger could land such a beautiful woman”.
However, the former working royal revealed that doubt sn clouded the moment due to Meghan’s acting profession.
In the docuseries, which saw the pair make several claims about certain members of the family, Meghan added that her being an “American actress” was “the biggest problem”.
In the six-episode series, which was released last December, Harry explained: “I remember my family first meeting her being incredibly impressed.
“Some of them didn’t quite know what to do with themselves (laughs). So I think they were. They were surprised. They were surprised that such a ginger could land such a beautiful woman. And such an intelligent woman.
“But the fact that I was dating an American actress, was probably what clouded their judgement more than anything else.”
Speaking of their potential thoughts, he added: “Oh, she’s an American actress, this won’t last long.”

Alongside Harry, Meghan added: “The actress thing was the biggest problem, funnily enough.
“There is a big idea of what that looks like from the UK standpoint – Hollywood – and it’s just very easy for them to typecast that.”
On Tuesday, October 10, Meghan and Harry will make a rare joint appearance in New York City.
The couple, who launched their company Archewell in 2020, will host their first in-person event to mark World Mental Health Day.
Although on opposite sides of the Atlantic, the Prince and Princess of Wales will also be marking the day with a royal engagement.
Meghan and Harry’s event will focus on addressing the ways in which social media is affecting young people’s mental health.
Over the past year, Archewell have reportedly been in touch with parents who have lost a child as a result of negative social media.
