Princess Kate has mastered royal skill from late Queen that Meghan Markle failed to grasp

A body language expert talks about Princess Kate's skill that sets her apart from her sister-in-law Meghan Markle.

Princess Kate has mastered one of the most crucial skills of being a royal unlike Meghan Markle, an expert has claimed.

The Princess of Wales has been carrying out many engagements recently and body language expert Judi James said there’s not a single time the royal has looked uninterested or bored.

She told the Sun: “Kate has spent years perfecting the body language of sustainability and is now at no risk of looking bored or showing any negative emotions.”

The expert added the princess looks “comfortable and relaxed with her skills tucked into her muscle memory” and compared her prowess to the late Queen Elizabeth II’s who was “always able to present the sweetest of smiles under the most difficult of circumstances.”

She continued: “It would be naïve to suggest Kate is totally fascinated by every aspect of every meeting and visit but the point is she looks as though she is and this is an important skill that could help the monarchy survive into the future.”

And this sets Kate apart from Meghan, whose royal approach “could hardly have been more of a contrast,” James claimed.

She said: “Coming from the US and with a career in drama, of course, she would have found our royals cold and unemotional.

“Her body language (and Harry’s) tends to come in short, intense bursts.”

The expert added that Meghan’s body language style is more of a celebrity than a royal.

“With Meghan, there was a wonderful array of open emotions as she used her body language to describe her intense and passionate love of her husband, smiled with total enthusiasm on royal visits and hugged, touched and posed for selfies.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, Germany, earlier this month.

And James told Express.co.uk the couple’s behaviour reflected “two different states” at the event.

She said: “It’s easy to see that Harry and Meghan’s attachment rituals look more crucial and even functional to Meghan here than to Harry and that their body language approach to these Games has often thrown up two very different states.

“While Meghan’s approach has been energetic, immersive and celebrity: smiling broadly, waving, hugging, posing for selfies and stopping back to extend her poses with the fans, Harry’s approach has contained moments of modesty, reflection and more serious facial expressions with what looks like a desire to ramp back on some of the more celebrity moments.”
