Prince George and Princess Charlotte can’t eat with Will and Kate – even on Christmas

The Royal youngsters have very strict rules about who they can eat with during big events - that includes Prince William and Princess Kate.

The Royal Family has strict rules about what its members can and cannot do in public and in private. Apparently, the Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis aren’t allowed to eat with Prince William and Princess Kate at big events from an early age.

Instead, they are sent to the children’s table – even on Christmas.

According to Harper’s Bazaar Royal children aren’t allowed to sit with the adults until they have “learned the art of polite conversation”

Darren McGrady, who worked for the Queen and Diana, said the children ate their Christmas lunch in the nursery.

“The children always ate in the nursery until they were old enough to conduct themselves properly at the dining table,” he told the magazine.

McGrady worked for Queen Elizabeth II for 15 years and previously revealed the late Monarch loved jam sandwiches fat tea time.

The former Royal chef also told Hello! that Prince William and Prince Harry were bribed to eat their greens during dinner.

“The Royal nursery wasn’t just for educating the minds of the young royals but educating their palates, too,” he said.

McGrady added: “Nanny always had control of the menu and made sure they ate balanced meals that included not only lots of healthy vegetables but introduced them to new grown-up dishes too.”

He revealed that the boys would often be tricked into eating their veggies `by hiding them in other dishes such as mashed potatoes.

Although Diana was supportive of the Princes’ healthy habits, she would sneak them out to McDonald’s from time to time for a special treat.
