Heartland has become a national icon in Canada, having aired for the past 17 years with consistent quality and success. The show centers around the Flemings and Bartletts, owners of the Heartland Ranch, and started in 2007 with the sudden and unexpected death of Marion, Jack’s daughter and Amy and Lou’s mother. This tragedy deeply affects the family, and their world is further turned upside down when Tim, their long-lost father, reappears at the ranch. Over the years, Heartland has managed to maintain its authenticity by sticking to its basic premise of the Flemings and Bartletts running the Heartland Ranch. Heartland cast: who will be back for season 17?
So far, we know four stars who will be returning for season 17: Amber Marshall, Michelle Morgan, Shaun Johnston and Chris Potter.
We don’t have any word yet on whether the likes of Jessica Steen, Michelle Nolden or Drew Davis will be back, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed for more returns.
