The reason for our belief stems from recent news surrounding cast member Chris Potter and issues he’s been having with filming the show. There are rumors suggesting that the distance between Potter’s House and the Heartland filming locations was exhausting for him. This distance also prevented him from spending sufficient time with his family, which could be the primary reason for his desire to depart from the show. These rumors emerged around season 15, but the actor still remains on the show. It is possible that he decided to continue for one more season. This is likely because if you recall the rumors before Graham Warda left Heartland, they surfaced 1-2 seasons prior to his actual departure. It’s possible that he waited to be sure of his decision, and the same could be true for Chris Potter
