General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Arrested After Gladys’ Body Found – Grim Discovery Changes Everything?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the show has seemingly written Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) into a corner. There’s just no hope for redemption after all the suffering Gladys has put poor Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) through.
Gladys already feels like a character who has stuck around well past her expiration date.
With Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) gone, Gladys just doesn’t seem very relevant to the canvas.
There’s no point in keeping around this selfish character who does nothing but cause pain and chaos.
It certainly feels like Gladys is headed for the exit door – and after Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) recent outburst, we have to wonder if she might leave in a body bag!
In GH’s August 16 episode, Cody flipped out over Gladys’ restraining order to keep him away from Sasha.
It was infuriating since Cody knows Gladys is the reason why Sasha’s facing Ferncliff horror.
That episode also brought Cody’s attempt to physically harm Gladys before he was held back.
Cody said maybe it was time for Gladys to feel trapped and helpless before repeatedly insisting he’d make her pay.

It obviously wasn’t a good idea to threaten Gladys in a police station with cops as witnesses!
Although Cody avoided arrest in that moment thanks to Mac Scorpio (John J. York), the incident could still come back to bite him.
If Gladys’ body turns up in a whodunit sooner or later, you’d better believe Cody will become the top suspect.
Cody could wind up in quite a jam, so he might struggle to get Mac and even Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to believe his innocence.
Naturally, someone else could be responsible for Gladys’ demise like Selina Wu (Lydia Look) or at least one of her henchmen.
Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) is another option if he turns against Gladys and permanently silences her.
Even Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could be to blame if he finds out what Gladys put Sasha through.
We have no problem buying the idea that Sonny might wipe Gladys off the map over something like this.
Of course, the story would still work with Gladys seriously injured and perhaps in a coma, so her body might still have a pulse after all.
The point is Cody made some unhinged threats and implied that he wanted to cause bodily harm to Gladys.
That seems like the perfect setup for Glady to find herself or hurt or deceased, so Cody may end up on the hot seat once this storyline takes a shocking turn.
