A body language expert analysed an interaction between Kate and Meghan, claiming that Kate showed Meghan “who is in charge”.

Body language expert Jesús Enrique Rosas analysed the royals walking and posing, claiming that Kate “neutralised” Meghan through her body language.

In a video for his YouTube channel The Royal Rogue, Jesús suggested that while the walkabout may not have been the easiest for Kate, the royal truly stepped up to the plate.

Analysing the Fab Four walking, the expert said it was “one of the most spectacular displays of body language I had seen in a long time”.

In one photo, Jesús claimed that “despite how uncomfortable Catherine could be”, she managed to “how do they say it these days – ‘slay’”.

He claimed that Kate “absolutely nailed the way that one should behave when you find yourself in a situation where you need to stare the stage with someone you do not like”.

In one photo he spotted Meghan’s hand covering her chest “for a split second” – “nervous looking in Catherine’s way”.

Meanwhile, he claimed that Kate was “walking tall with her hands relaxed and her chin really up”.

According to the body language expert, this simple chin jut was very telling as “she usually doesn’t have her chin that high up”.

Jesús claimed: “In some scenarios it could be read as arrogance, but in this case it was more like a threat.

“Because I’m sure that Catherine knows that there are times that you can be diplomatic, there are times that you can force a smile, and there are times you can pretend to be polite to the person.

”But there are also times in which you have to show that person who is in charge.”

According to the expert, Kate and William acted in “the most polite and diplomatic way”.

Jesús claimed that the source of Kate’s discomfort was “knowing that Meghan and Harry had absolutely nothing to do there”.

The expert explained that even if you do not feel totally comfortable in a situation, body language signals are key to conveying that you are.

He said: “By projecting indecision or insecurity, we are just confirming that the other person – or the other people – have some kind of power over us.”

Speaking about a particular image of the four of them, Jesús called it “truly representative of the power of presence”.

The picture depicts Kate and William waving while Harry has his hand on Meghan’s shoulder.

The expert claimed that Harry pushed Meghan away from Kate and William as he knew Meghan had been “neutralised”.

Jesús claimed that Meghan’s body was tense, with her arm contracted and “tension on her neck”.

He claimed that while Kate may have had “tension” as well, she “knew she had a role bigger than herself as a person”.
