Despite being just 10 years old, Prince George has likely sampled some of the finest cuisine in the world.
Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli shared that the heir to the throne might be a fan of one particular Italian dish.
Aldo is an ambassador for the youth homeless charity Centrepoint, of which Prince William is a patron.
Having chatted to Prince William, he found out that his son is partial to a tasty carbonara, a staple Italian pasta dish made with eggs, hard cheese, cured pork, and black pepper.
Aldo told Femail: “[William’s] amazing – I’m waiting for the call because apparently his little boy’s favourite is spaghetti carbonara, so I’m waiting for the call to go and cook it for him.”

How to make Prince George’s favourite Italian dish
For those who want to eat like a Prince, Jamie Oliver has a tasty carbonara recipe up his sleeve.
Ingredients
- 150 g dried spaghetti
- Two rashers of higher-welfare smoked streaky bacon
- Olive oil
- Two free-range eggs
- 30 g Parmesan cheese, plus extra for grating

Cheese lovers will love Prince George’s favourite meal
Method
- Cook the pasta in a pan of boiling salted water according to the packet instructions.
- Slice up the bacon and place in a non-stick frying pan on a medium heat. Pop half a tablespoon of olive oil and a generous pinch of black pepper in there too. Leave the bacon to get golden and crispy, tossing now and again. Turn off the heat.
- At the same time, beat the eggs in a bowl. Grate in the Parmesan and mix together.
- Grab some tongs and transfer your pasta into the pan. Stir in with the bacon.
- Pour the Parmesan and egg mixture into the pan and keep stirring, loosening with splashes of the pasta cooking water until you have formed a silky sauce. The pan shouldn’t be too hot otherwise the eggs will scramble.
- Serve up a hearty portion of pasta on a plate. Cheese lovers, finish with some more Parmesan.
