Pauley Perrette, Star Of Ncis, Has Shared A Devastating Post On The Loss Of Her ‘Best Friend.’

Pauley Perrette is best known for her role in NCIS

Former NCIS star Pauley Perrette has received an outpouring of love after posting a tribute to her late cousin, Wayne, whom she described as her greatest friend. The actress tweeted a photo of the late firefighter’s stunning tattoo, which was a memorial to those who died in the 9/11 terror attacks, along with a touching note.

“My firefighter,” she wrote. Cousin Wayne (my cousin, brother, and best friend) spent every day following 9/11 paying tribute to the 343 #firefighters who died on that terrible day. He just went to paradise and is now among them. “This was his entire back tattoo.”

Fans were quick to reply, with one writing: “Cousin Wayne, never forgotten and thanks for sharing. Beautiful tribute to 9/11,” while another person added: “May God bless those that were lost on that day including those who ‘ran toward the danger’. The best and bravest were lost on that day.”

“I’m sorry for your loss,” a third person added. That day, and because of that day, we lost far too many excellent people! My heart goes out to you all. I was in the Air Force at the time, and it profoundly impacted my life.”

Pauley previously discussed her relationship with Wayne in an article, writing, “Everyone has their human, their person…Wayne, my cousin, was t he one for me. He was everything to me; he was my brother, and we were twins…Wayne died on March 18, 2022. I still don’t know who I am without him after a year.”

Who did Pauley Perrette play on NCIS?

Pauley played Abby Sciutto on NCIS from 2003 to 2018, before quitting due to an apparent feud with her co-star, Mark Harmon. When asked if she will ever return to the show on X, now known as Twitter, she replied, “NO I AM NOT COMING BACK!” EVER! (Would you please stop asking?) I’m afraid of Harmon and the possibility of him attacking me. It gives me nightmares. I’ve got a new show that’s SAFE AND HAPPY! You’ll enjoy it!”

She added: “You think I didn’t expect blow back? You got me wrong. THIS happened To my crew member and I fought like hell to keep it from happening again! To protect my crew! And then I was physically assaulted for saying NO!?and I lost my job.”

At the time, CBS released its own statement which read: “Pauley Perrette had a terrific run on NCIS and we are all going to miss her,” it read. “Over a year ago, Pauley came to us with a workplace concern. We took the matter seriously and worked with her to find a resolution. We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows.”
