General Hospital Spoilers Update: Tuesday, August 22 – Doctor’s Difficult News, Powerful Enemies and Generous Offer
General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 22, indicates that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will sound the alarm during a conversation with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) at Pentonville. Drew will defend his decision to help Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) despite Carly’s belief that he should’ve steered clear of him.
Of course, now Drew is mixed up with the wrong crowd since he’s made some formidable foes – not to mention Cyrus’ plan to repay him could lead to more trouble than he bargained for.
Over with Ava Jerome (Maura West), she’ll push Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) for answers about how he’s handling the crisis with Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini), Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) and their powerful employer.
When Austin only offers vague promises of it being taken care of, Ava will press the doc for more information. However, Austin will soon have to focus on a surprising patient.
It turns out Austin will help Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) when someone new is admitted to the hospital – and it looks like that someone could be Jake Webber (Hudson West) since he has new scenes coming up.
Will Jake face a sudden injury that needs urgent care? Will Austin join forces with Liz to care for her own son?
After an AA meeting, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will acknowledge Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) difficult share and understand what he’s going through.
Finn recently found out about Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) ALS diagnosis, so Alexis will want to be there for both of them in any way she can.
Elsewhere at the hospital, Gregory will push for honesty from Dr. Bronson (Jeffrey Stubblefield) – and Finn’s dad will want to get honest about how much assistance he’s going to need moving forward, too.
TJ Ashford (TJ Bellow) will also be on hand to guide Gregory through his next steps as he deals with more medical news.
Other GH spoilers say Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will have a candid conversation with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about his distrust of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Valentin is deceiving Anna about some crucial details in the aftermath of the fire, so Anna will confess that she thinks Pikeman is the reason why.
Finally, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will extend a generous offer now that she’s allowed to venture beyond the safety of her own home.
Willow’s getting stronger every day, so she’ll hope to put that strength to good use and come through for someone who could use some help.
