General Hospital Spoilers: Sasha’s Unexpected Hero Stops Dr. Montague – Fatal Injection Blocked Just In Time
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) worst nightmare has come true now that she’s back at Ferncliff. Sasha, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) tried to pull off an awful plan, so it’s not surprising that it failed miserably!
It was a terrible idea to send Sasha alone to confront Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) – not to mention Sasha never should’ve trusted Gladys when she said she’d turn herself in.
Gladys betrayed Sasha by summoning the cops for her fugitive daughter-in-law instead, so Sasha was promptly taken back to Ferncliff.
Now Sasha is in more danger than ever since Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) is on high alert and knows the walls are closing in.
Dr. Montague vowed to personally take care of Sasha – and we all know what he meant by that! The goal is now to give Sarah the fatal overdose that Dr. Montague has been planning.
Dante was kicked out of Sasha’s room, so it’s doubtful that Sam can get anywhere near her right now either.
Cody was taken back to a holding cell, so he’s stuck and presumably can’t come to Sasha’s rescue this time around.
Of course, Sasha isn’t going to face a grim fate, so it seems she’ll need an unexpected hero to help her out of this jam.
Sasha is restrained and unable to fight back against Dr. Montague, but someone may come up behind him and thwart his twisted plans.
When this Ferncliff arc kicked off, the show cast Lauren Swickard in the role of Nurse Janice.
They hired Josh Swickard’s real-life wife for a nurse role that’s always felt a little more substantial than just a random employee.
Janice was given a real personality and was involved in Sasha’s story from the get-go.
We’ve seen Janice show genuine concern for Sasha and even grow a little suspicious of Dr. Montague’s orders at times.
Could all of that add up to Nurse Janice being the surprising hero of this GH storyline?
Janice is the only person left who cares about Sasha and has access right now, so maybe she’ll be the one to save the day.
It’s easy to imagine Janice sneaking up behind Dr. Montague and knocking him out when he tries to give Sasha a fatal injection.
Then again, Janice might end up struggling with Dr. Montague over the syringe and jabbing him with it in the process. It’d be fitting if Dr. Montague was the one who perished instead of Sasha!
Regardless, Nurse Janice may be able to testify against Dr. Montague and support Sasha’s claims about him drugging her at Ferncliff.
Gladys will still need to be dealt with, but it’ll be great to see Dr. Montague finally get what’s coming to him, too.
