On June 26, 2023, Celine’s team posted a video on her Instagram account with her song, “Waiting on You,” playing in the background. The post garnered over 50,000 likes.

Within the comments section, many of the award-winning singer’s followers expressed concerns about her whereabouts, and someone asked, “Are you alive? Post a story.”

Someone else wrote, “I think, that she died, but they want to make money on her.” Another Instagram user revealed rumors are going around suggesting Celine passed away. A third person asked whether it was true or not.

The month the team uploaded a video on the global superstar’s social account, they also posted a photo of her alongside the lyrics of her song, “Love Is Love.”

Fans once again commented on the post, and some revealed that they were keeping the Canadian native, dubbed the “Queen of Power Ballads,” in their prayers.

She was diagnosed with “Stiff Person Syndrome,” which is a rare autoimmune neurological disorder affecting only “one in a million” people. Victims usually suffer from muscle spasms often triggered by noise, touch, or stress.

Celine’s last social media activity was on December 24, 2022, when she posted a video wishing her 6.1 million followers well for the holidays. “Merry Christmas, everyone. Wishing you love, happiness, the best of health. Bye. Bye,” she said.

Celine’s Sister Provides Rare Health Update
