Stabler and Benson on Season 3 of Law & Order: Organized Crime

Stabler and Benson’s connection was ultra intense in Season 3 of Law & Order: Organized Crime. When Benson was shot in Season 3, Episode 22, titled “With Many Names,” Stabler heroically carried Benson to safety even after being temporarily blinded by tear gas. Stabler paid Benson a visit at the hospital as soon as he could and was overwhelmed with relief to find out that she would survive her injuries.

Benson later received a gift from Stabler: a diamond-accented compass pendant. It was a moving present from someone Benson has literally held close to her heart for decades.

“Elliot, this is beautiful,” Benson gasped, thanking him. She then joyfully asked  Stabler, “Is this supposed to lead me somewhere… or to something?”

“Lead you to happiness, Liv,” Stabler responded.
