Al Roker Takes Infant Granddaughter on Her First Walk in Central Park
'My little Sky,' the doting pop-pop gushed.
Al Roker is relishing in his newest role as a pop-pop.
This week, the Today weatherman got to spend some quality time with his infant granddaughter Sky, whom his daughter Courtney Roker welcomed with her husband Wesley Laga in July.
The doting grandfather shared a video to his Instagram page on Friday, Sept. 22, as he toted the adorable, sleeping baby about New York City’s Central Park in a pram on her first venture throughout the iconic, sprawling park.
“Spent the day with @ouichefroker and my little Sky,” Roker, 69, gushed in the caption of his post. “And took her for her walk in @centralparknyc.”

“Someone has stolen your heart!” someone pointed out in the comments, while another user added, “Being a grandparent is the best❤️.”
“That is my idea of heaven 😍❤️,” another comment read.
“Al, watching you enjoy Sky is the sweetest thing 🥹,” another commenter chimed in.
Roker first announced Sky’s arrival over the summer, taking to Instagram to share the exciting news.
“And then this little girl came into my life. Welcome to the world, Sky Clara Laga,” he wrote at the time, sharing the first glimpse of the adorable newborn. “In love all over again.”
“Thank you, Courtney and Wes for such a perfect blessing,” he continued, while adding, “[Your] baby is beautiful. Already planning the ways to spoil her and then hand her back.”
Roker later shared an update for Sky’s one-month birthday, though the little one didn’t seem too pleased to be having her photo taken.
“My little Sky not so happy about the photo shoot Mom and Dad set up,” he wrote at the time.
“Thats a keeper photo!” one of his followers commented on the relatable photo.
