Nancy Burnet, Bob Barker’s longtime partner, opened up about the last days she shared with him not long after his death. She revealed that their romantic relationship had evolved into a friendship in his final days alive.
Burnet had the best nurses and caregivers in Los Angeles for the television show host. Despite his death, Barker’s doctors were surprised by how sturdy and healthy he was towards the end of his life.
The star’s partner said, “Even in his final stages, he wasn’t that gaunt.” Burnet revealed how she stayed in contact with the celebrity’s caregiver nurses “every day, all day,” and at night, they ensured to check in with her, and if an issue arose, she’d talk to them until late.
“The Price Is Right” star’s partner confessed how it was a pleasure for her to ensure he was well cared for. The celebrity’s caregivers sent Burnet videos that allowed her to check in on him daily, and she also spoke to them on the phone.
