Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham’s son is now grown up, and fans could not help but notice that he is already towering over his famous father. On her Instagram account, the actor’s wife and mother of his children shared a photo of him and their son, Brendan, on August 7, 2023.

The American model, who previously graced magazine covers including French Vogue and Marie Claire, posted an image of the father-and-son duo posing in their open-plan home.
“How did he become a freshman in high school already??” the doting mom captioned her post, which showed her spouse and child wearing shorts.

Fans flooded the comments section and someone pointed out how much the pair looked alike. One person wrote, “Twins!” Other people commented on Brendan’s physical appearance, with one penning, “Wow, how tall he got! Mini Mark,” alongside a heart emoji.

Wahlberg and Durham have been married for 14 years, since August 2009, and have four children together and became parents before they got hitched.
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Ella, 20, in September 2003 in Los Angeles. Sadly, the day she was born, her father unexpectedly lost his older sister, Deborah Wahlberg, after she suffered a heart attack at age 43.
Three years later, the former rapper and the Florida native had their second child and first son, Michael, 17, in March 2006. The teenager’s name pays tribute to his dad and granddad.
Brendan, 14, is Wahlberg and Durham’s third child, born two years after his older brother in September 2008. According to his father, his arrival evoked mixed reactions from his older siblings. Michael was unhappy that he would no longer be the baby of the family, while Ella was elated to have another little brother.
The youngest member of the big family is Wahlberg and Durham’s 13-year-old daughter, Grace, whom the lovebirds welcomed in January 2010.
The father of four has reportedly shared memorable moments with his lastborn online, including her first communion, father-daughter dance, and a quarantine spa day.
Wahlberg left Hollywood to provide a normal childhood for his kids. He uprooted his family to Las Vegas, Nevada, in the fall of 2022. In a March 2023 interview, he explained the move was to provide a better life for his kids, adding:
“It’s really giving the kids a chance to thrive. It just has the best of both worlds.”
The Boston native listed their luxurious family home in Beverly Hills estate for $87.5 million and later bought a house at the Summit Club in Summerlin, just outside Las Vegas.
Wahlberg once shared that moving to Nevada would expose his children to more opportunities, including himself, as he has big plans for the city, such as building a shoe factory and a state-of-the-art studio.
